The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, delicious. Great views from the room, in good company with the chickens and it has been a while since last time I slept that deep and wake up that rested.
If I ever come back to Groningen, and probably I will because I really liked it, I'll definitely do whatever I can to book a room here again.
I had a fantastic stay at the HOTEL DE DOELEN. The room was clean, very comfy and located perfectly. But the highlight was the amazing staff. I felt very welcome.

We both loved the atmosphere and the jungle vibe. Nice breakfast. The animals were great. Nothing better than waking up to ducklings outside your cabin. Definitely coming back soon!
The cabin was very nice and the camping area as a whole was amazing. The lake was very nice to swim in and the common areas with toilets and showers were very clean. The ”poolbar” was very nice and offered snacks and small courses (we strongly recommend the hamburgers). We will definitely come back here again.
