This place has a great location on Chulia street, close to bars and restaurants and sights but far from noise. The shop house has been converted into a large living area and then rooms. There is a shared fridge with coffee and sometimes snacks. Our room was a double with an en suite and air conditioning. It was small but functional. The bed is really comfy.

This place was amazing! Had more hotel vibes than hostel. I love the pods to sleep in, they were very comfy and cosy and the air con was great. Perfect location, you can walk out the door and wander around the fascinating streets and come back to the pool in the afternoon to cool off. They give you a fresh towel and bottle of water each day and there's shower gel and shampoo in the shower.

The pods give you privacy and are comfy, lovely duvet, mirror and hanger inside. The bathroom is nice, clean and sufficient. The self check.in was pretty easy. The buses are super cheap and easy to get into the area of George town, a few restaurants around, 7/11 and a new park that has been built along the coast which is a short walk.

I liked that the host was very accomodative to add pillows . The extra beds / mattresses were very comfy . When enquired he even gave recommendation to nearby vegetarian eateries and places of interest . He was very pleasant via WhatsApp. There were even umbrellas to use in the cabinet

The house is sweet with very "Penang" style artwork around. Beds are comfy in nice rooms and the whole place is air conditioned. There was lots of space for 6 though we were only 5 and 2 bathrooms helped too. Don't forget your washing pods as there's a washing machine which is so useful! The owner was helpful and very responsive to messages. Off road parking is a bonus too.

The hostel is run very well, good self check in procedures. The room has all you need as a solo traveller (comfy bed, towel, blanket, pillow, fan and air conditioning, charging point, table, chair and small bin); the downstairs has good toilet and showers, somewhere to sit and eat, fridge freezer to use. Very good for what I required.

Really cool hotel, feels like you're staying in a log cabin. We stayed in the double room and had a 4-poster bed which was super comfy. Lots of space inside the rooms with good storage and a desk too. Seats downstairs in the foyer where you can play games and have a drink. There's also a rooftop area where you can sit. Breakfast making facilities along with free tea, coffee and drinking water. Really good location everything you need to see within walking distance.

I really liked the beds in individual niches to have some privacy. The mattress is large and comfy, there are hooks and a towel rack, an electrical outlet and an extra lamp. Air conditioning in the dorms but not too cold, just good temperature! There is toilet paper and also hooks and towel racks in the showers. The establishment is well located, in a quiet street close to the city center.
