Looking for a glamping site?
Glamping (glamorous + camping) sites are where you can camp with modern and luxurious facilities. If you are looking for a getaway in nature but don’t want to give up your luxuries, this is ideal for you.
The room was very spacious. It had a "big" balcony with a table and chairs outside. The bathroom had hot water and a nice view. The room itself was also very nice, with a TV, Bluetooth speaker, and instant drip coffee ♥️.
In general, there was nothing to complain about, except for the almost non-functioning air conditioning (very, very low fan) and a loud fan located in the ceiling, which was very loud. I couldn't find a way to turn down the ceiling fan.
We had a lovely stay at Sakuraya! The location was ideal, really close to the ferry port and main sites of the island. The room was so tranquil and cosy, we loved being able to lie on our comfy futons with the balcony door open and enjoy the sounds of nature. We were pleasantly surprised that we could use the public bath, as we have tattoos.
Very nice hotel, the staff was very helpfull. The rooms looks better in reality then on the photos and beds are big and comfy. It was very close to the ferry to Miyajima.
Our stay at Sakuraya was wonderful. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was super comfy and big enough to host 4 adults. Our highlight was the onsen in the basement!
Great place to stay while visiting Miyajima. Traditional style room, honestly, I was surprised how warm and cosy the futon was (first time user). Rooms do have air conditioning.
Staff are friendly and nice. Arrived early and left my bags with reception. When I checked in, they had moved my bag into my room. This was amazing considering between floor 4 and 5 they currently only have stairs.
They have their own public bath, which is tattoo friendly.
Great location just a shot walk to the ferry stop and close to the Tori gate. Lovely room, I got one with ensuite and it was very comfy and quiet. Staff were superb, gave me information about closing times for restaurants and recommendations. Highly recommend staying here.
A lovely homely little ryokan run by amazingly friendly staff in a great location (5 min walk from the ferry port, right on the water and close to shops, convenience stores and, most importantly, nearly all major sightseeing points!) The room (standard Japanese twin) was spacious and clean, with a small table, snacks, a kettle and super comfy futons. With free wi-fi and traditional public baths for men and women to enjoy the full ryokan experience, we absolutely loved our stay here.
