Fantastic nights sleep in a very comfy bed. Big bathroom , lovely hot shower. The house is very interesting and over 200 years old. Joan was a lovely host, and breakfast was delicious. Home-made yoghurt and croissants coffee, etc. There's a beautiful wood burner in the main room, Joan had ready to light and comfy chairs too. Thank you!

The grounds were absolutely beautiful, everyone was so friendly. The bed was super comfy. Lots of charm and character. Within good driving distance to towns like Cork and Kilkenny for those who want to explore but also the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Plus two gorgeous dogs who loved a cuddle. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

super comfy beds! very clean! great location to walk to things in the city. Also the walk from cork (kent) train station to the hotel was also very do-able even with luggage. free Wifi worked great too. There were also lots of plugs for charging in the room. If we go back to Ireland- Maldron hotels are wonderful and we would stay again. (also stayed at the Maldron in Dublin!) Room tour on our youtube channel: travel with the twins kimiandkari

The place was clean with super comfy beds and pillows. The shower was excellent. The Nespresso pods and tea making facilities were a great touch. Breakfast was included and we all enjoyed our cooked breakfasts.

Great staff at reception couldn’t have been more helpful and happy. Great location for discovering Cork. The building is 200 yrs old or so and gives a sense of history and glamour. Our room was a good size and had a comfy bed. Enjoyed our one night stay while travelling Ireland!
