    Great stay at Rovers Retreat, highly recommended and within a short walk to town too. Loads of space for the 6 of us, big lounge with a well equipped kitchen and separate dining room on the ground floor leading out to a small yard and gate to the back road - useful for the dog! Comfy beds and a huge bathroom, with views of the Abbey in the top room too. On-street parking was fine too; we found a spot within a minute walk if couldn't get parked on the street. We'll be back next time we come to Whitby!

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at coombs glamping pods. We recieved a lovely warm welcome from Jackie and Michael and nothing was to much trouble. Home from home and could not fault the decore and home furnishings as everything matched and was just perfect.The welcome pack was a lovely touch. If your looking for a secluded part of the yorkshire moors look no further. We will definatley be returning.

    I spoke with the owner prior to attending who provided a lot of detail on how we would get to the property and access keys. The property itself was absolutely perfect and as I said it exceeded what we expected given the pricing was fair vs other properties. The beds were really comfy and the rooms were spotless. Where the property was situated allowed us to stay locally and have all the amenities on our doorstep. We will certainly be using Chartwell Retreat for our future visits

    Lovely accomodation a stone's throw from the heart of Whitby. Pubs, cafes, restaurants all within 3 or 4 minutes walk of Belle Vue Cabin. Living room was modern with a well appointed galley kitchen. Bathroom also modern and very clean. Bedroom was quirky, but the bed was huge and very comfy! Nice little touches provided by hosts such as shortbreads, fruitcake, a pint of milk in the fridge and even a couple of mini-sized bottles of wine. Convenient on street parking with provided permit, or round the back of the property.

    Location absolutely amazing, just 5 min walk to Whitby. Car parking facilities right outside hotel (not on main road). Bed was absolutely huge! So comfy and cosy. TV, kettle, tea / coffee & biscuits! Towels & toiletries provided. Bathroom was clean, lovely shower, plenty of towels inc bath mats and face flannels. Bedside cabinets, plenty of plug sockets, and 2 mirrors!

    The cottage was well located close to everything it was cosy and comfortable. Clean and tidy. Comfy bed. Had a little outside space which is great in the heart of Whitby. Dog friendly too. Highly recommend this little retreat.
