The location was perfect as were the staff. Although food choices were a little limited, what we had was good. The room was very clean, with a comfy bed, as was the rest of the hotel.

Such a cute place. Peaceful, cosy and very scenic. We had 2 cabins for a large group. And we were all very happy. Enjoyed a camp fire, with wood provided . Didn't want to leave. Keep me in mind for a job with accommodation 😂😂

The staff were friendly & helpful. The initial impression of the downstairs is lovely - maybe had a refurb recently in the bar/dining area as this looks modern, clean and fresh. It was right next to the transport hub so trains would be easy ( although we drove). It has a close by car park. Beds were comfy, linen clean.

From the outside it looked tired…but on the inside it was great! Port Talbot suffers from the ‘faded sea side glamour’ effect, it’s a crying shame because it’s in a great part of the world and omg the beach is INCREDIBLE! The view from my (massive, luxury) room was of the beach (in the distance) and a sad, closed down pub/restaurant - which felt sad, this seaside town could be amazing again with some support from the government!!! Thanks to the staff, so lovely and friendly!

Great location up in the hills above Port Talbot. The lodge is at the start of the mountain bike trails and is popular with groups, with a bunk house, glamping and camping. I had a room in the lodge which was very comfortable and clean, giving a wonderful night's sleep. All the staff were very friendly. Food is served at the weekends in the cafe, good hearty outdoorsy food. This isn't a grand hotel and you shouldn't expect it but the location is unbeatable and the staff make you very welcome.
