The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. The tranquil property was renovated in 2015 and features swimming pools and a Spa & Wellness centre. personal and cozy hotel where every detail was well thought out. Fantastic breakfast and excellent dinner restaurant. The thermal bath receives a high rating. The staff is incredibly helpful and nice.

The hotel’s interior is renovated in Art Deco style, blending in harmoniously with the environment. All rooms are decorated in neutral tones, and have wooden furniture. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. The hotel was amazing. It exceeded our expectations a lot as it turned out to be an actual 5-star level with outstanding service, super helpful and professional staff, two really good restaurants, especially the sushi bar). Everything from furniture to food at breakfast is of great quality and up to the highest standards (and we are quite well-traveled and not easy to impress). But most importantly, the amazing Terra Nostra Garden with its thermal pools is exclusively reserved for hotel guests from 4:30 pm to 10:30 am. Which means you can calmly explore the garden with no crowds as if's was only yours. This was probably our favorite experience in the Azores. Will definitely return again.

This 4-star hotel offers room service and luggage storage space. Guests can use the spa and wellness centre with a sauna, hot tub, and hammam, as well as an outdoor swimming pool. They were quick to respond to questions via Whatsapp. The private parking has space for about 6-8 spots so pretty useful if you can nab a spot. I was out for most of my stay but there is a pool and a spa if you wanted some downtime at the hotel.

The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating to us during the entirety of our time at the resort, from helping us order taxis to organizing an earlier checkout when we had just gotten in from a long flight; the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We really appreciated the privacy of our villa as well as the beautiful view. The room was also well decorated and had everything needed for our stay. The hotel restaurant was great for when you did not want to leave the resort, and Lagoa town has some good options for dinner if you are looking for something different. We highly recommend Sul Villas and Spa and would love to return. Obrigada!!

Featuring a patio with mountain views, pool with a view and a garden, Mosteiros Place can be found in Mosteiros, close to Praia dos Mosteiros and 4.8 km from Lagoa Azul. This 4-star aparthotel offers luggage storage space and a concierge service. The aparthotel also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. We had an amazing view from the terrace and we enjoyed the sunset in our first night at the accommodation. This property has a small pool and fitness facilities. The breakfast was very good.

Great stay in Sao Miguel, Azores The property is very well equipped, the apartment is large overlooking the sea from one side and the garden from the other side. Internet speed was great too. Overall area is very beautiful We recommend to enjoy the products from the bakery for the breakfast, they are very fresh and tasty. We would love to come back. Sunsets and sunrises from here are fabulous.

Located in the São Miguel Island of the Azores archipelago, the Caloura Hotel Resort is inserted on a protected natural area and features direct access to the sea and natural volcanic pools. There is also a swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers. Beautiful location. Hotel full of light with wonderful gardens and places to sit and look out to sea. Large and v comfortable rooms and good selection of food for breakfast and dinner. Friendly and helpful staff who greeted you with a smile whenever you met. Hi light was spotting dolphins from pool terrace. So sorry to leave.

The whole experience was incredible. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly, and professional, seriously something out of the ordinary. The hotel itself was gorgeous: you really feel like you are inside of an art gallery. The bar had a classy and cozy environment. The wellness center as also super, I really think they worked out the atmosphere with the dim lights and sounds to perfection. The location was ideal, and the food at the restaurant something memorable as well. I think this was the best hotel we tried during our week at the Azores, I cannot recommend it enough.
