The Athlone Institute of Technology is 1 km away. This place was wonderful. The owner Jim went out of his was to make us welcome and comfortable. There was glitch in our plans and Jim went out of his way to get it fixed fot us. It was raining and we got wet and cold-he brought us a heater.that warmed us up. He could not have been more helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this place. 😀

Historic Athlone Castle and the River Shannon are only a 2-minute walk away from the apartments. location is fabulous. We usually stay in hotels but as with my father & daughter it was lovely to do self catering as we could eat at the location than eating out all the time.
