The staff is super gentle, always kind and polite. The premises couldn't be more clean, location is right in the middle of Ubud but as it is on a small street you still feel kind of like in a village. They received me with a warm wet towel to wash my face because they knew I had a long run with my motorbike from Denpasar, and were always trying to make sure I was comfortable.

The location of the hotel along a very pretty side street meant that it was very quiet and gave you the sense of being in the middle of nowhere rather than in the heart of what has become a very popular tourist destination. From the reception area, to the rooms, the verandas, the pools and yoga area and the hotel restaurant, everything has been designed with guest comfort and guest experience in mind. This was a return visit, having stayed two weeks beforehand between a visit to Pemuteran, and we were treated so kindly on our return with a personalised bottle of wine waiting for us in our room, which had been upgraded to pool view as my elderly mother had struggled with the stairs leading down the garden view room we had stayed in at the beginning of our visit to Bali. We have been to Bali many times over the past twenty years and this has to be one of the best places we have stayed considering how affordable it was. The staff are to be commended. They are all seem very well trained not only in their own roles, but give a sense of being aware of the importance of guest relations. The restaurant menu is incredibly varied and healthy and room service is available. Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to try the spa, but the spa menu looked incredible. Even our driver to the airport made the last 90 minutes of our time in Bali interesting with his lovely chit-chat and insights into how Bali is evolving. We would definitely stays here time and time again.

Breakfast was also perfect, top quality cereals and in addition you can order anything you like from menu. Good choice of messages. Very kind staff.

The hotel is not directly accessible by Car but it is not a deal breaker as it is less than just a minute walk. But the location of the hotel is perfect as it is very near to the main city area and at the same time far from the hustle of the city. I loved the stay with them and will definetely stay there again.
