Gawler
Built in 1870 and boasting a hot tub, free breakfast supplies and complimentary WiFi, Eagle Foundry Bed & Breakfast is located at the gateway to the world famous Barossa Valley wine district. Guests will find port wine and free chocolates in their room on arrival. We stayed at Thomson suite. When we opened the door, our jaws dropped. It was ten times more beautiful and quirky than we could ever imagine. It had a very artistic touch on everything and every corner, showing the very long history of the place as a foundry. Gorgeous brick walls exposed inside with outstanding skylight, windows, bar, pool, kitchen, woodburner fireplace and ... I was thinking of living there forever. Greg, the host, came to say hi, what a lovely man he is. He generously filled up the fridge for us, more than we could ever eat.

These showed the host really cared about the property and her guests. The breakfast and extra goodies were really special and made us feel extra welcome.

Willaston
Welcome to our beautiful, self-contained guest home, where you can experience staying in a former church, located in Gawler, on the doorstep of the Barossa Valley & gateway to the Clare Valley & only a 1hour drive from Adelaide in South Australia. The property is unusual, being a former church but has been interestingly and tastefully converted. The accommodation was well laid out and the decor and furnishings very individual which made it very interesting. Everything you could require was provided in terms of kitchen equipment and the do it yourself breakfasts are a thoughtful touch. one of the highlights was being met by the owner who took great pride in the property and gave us a detailed tour as well as providing useful local information. All in all a very comfortable stay with everything we needed.

Location was great. The property was within a 10 min drive to a whole bunch of wineries and eateries. The instructions left by the host for key collection was very clear. We were impressed by the room size and the Vasse Virgin products provided. Heater was already on upon arrival on a fairly chilly day which was welcome. The produce provided for breakfast was very generous and of very good quality; we particularly enjoyed the port provided.
Location great Nice sized modern rooms
There is so much to like about this property. From being genuinely welcomed by host Louise to the really clean and homely unit I felt so relaxed and comfortable. The little touches of lamps and heater on to welcome me to the fresh flowers, quality shampoo, conditioner etc etc assured me my comfort was important . Location and quiet surroundings are well worth noting. I should also mention the Tim tams! Thank you!
Beautiful home in a quiet cul-de-sac. Very spacious with great kitchen and living room. King size bed in master. Home has been beautifully renovated to a modern standard. Great deck looking out to mountains in distance. Would highly recommend.
The location in town is fabulous, beds very comfortable and the sheets high quality. There are two living areas plus outdoor area to utilise. Appreciated gift of bottle of wine.
I was amazed at the room condition and everything about my brief overnight stay. When making the booking I was looking for a quiet country pub near the centre of Angaston, what I ended up with was four-star quality accommodation in a newly renovated room which was excellent.
Cosy, modern and newly renovated bedroom with a very nice brass shower room. The wifi signal was strong and location was within walking distance to Tanunda’s main strip- perfect for walking to try the handful of restaurants nearby. Chateau Tanunda was a leisurely walk too!
A remarkably renovated stone barn blending old world charm with modern facilities. Peaceful and comfortable. Excellent location. Thoughtful flourishes. We had a lovely long weekend of rest and relaxation. The vouchers for Nosh were gratefully redeemed.
