Gawler
Built in 1870 and boasting a hot tub, free breakfast supplies and complimentary WiFi, Eagle Foundry Bed & Breakfast is located at the gateway to the world famous Barossa Valley wine district. Guests will find port wine and free chocolates in their room on arrival. We stayed at Thomson suite. When we opened the door, our jaws dropped. It was ten times more beautiful and quirky than we could ever imagine. It had a very artistic touch on everything and every corner, showing the very long history of the place as a foundry. Gorgeous brick walls exposed inside with outstanding skylight, windows, bar, pool, kitchen, woodburner fireplace and ... I was thinking of living there forever. Greg, the host, came to say hi, what a lovely man he is. He generously filled up the fridge for us, more than we could ever eat.

Very well equipped, you don't need to take anything with you, it's like a home from home (shampoo, washing powder, condiments, you name it!) Breakfast basket was excellent with enough food for a cooked breakfast, also a bottle of wine, port and juices.

Great location and very comfortable recently renovated room. Easy check in/out process with very friendly and helpful staff.
Location was great, close to restaurants and shops in the city centre, as well as wineries. We nearly missed the turn to go into the property, as the driveway isn't very big and the sign is easily missed. The rooms are good, love the ensuite for each room with the heated towel racks. One of the ensuite has heated floor, while the other didn't seem to have it. As for the beds, one of the beds seem to be slanting one way. Maybe worth checking by the host(s).
Location, room was so cozy and comfortable, big bed, linen was fresh, options to watch paid tv, the warmth, modern features, vouchers to dine in.
Location, clean, modern, easy to check in and out

I was amazed at the room condition and everything about my brief overnight stay. When making the booking I was looking for a quiet country pub near the centre of Angaston, what I ended up with was four-star quality accommodation in a newly renovated room which was excellent.
Cosy, modern and newly renovated bedroom with a very nice brass shower room. The wifi signal was strong and location was within walking distance to Tanunda’s main strip- perfect for walking to try the handful of restaurants nearby. Chateau Tanunda was a leisurely walk too!
A remarkably renovated stone barn blending old world charm with modern facilities. Peaceful and comfortable. Excellent location. Thoughtful flourishes. We had a lovely long weekend of rest and relaxation. The vouchers for Nosh were gratefully redeemed.
