The View. We paid a bit for our rooms however they exceeded our expectations. The rooms seemed to be recently renovated. The bathrooms were modern and well appointed, the room was a comfortable size and overlooked the mountains. We had a black out for a while on our first night however the power eventually came back on. Dinner there was well priced and lovely too.

Location is superb - cannot get much closer to the mountains. The ambiance in our ground-level huts reflected the setting. Rabbits and ducks were everywhere outside - cute. Great mountain views. The sky at night was unreal. We hiked from our room and did the Hooker Valley walk and returned (sore). Restaurant service and food quality and variety is very good.
