We stayed at the hotel for the second time. The hotel is very comfortable and pleasant. A great thing is the jacuzzi in the room with thermal water, so we used the wellness only to a limited extent if you have a private one. I recommend accommodation with half board - the choice of dishes at dinner is impressive, dishes always made from seasonal ingredients, interesting and imaginative in the format of fine dining but with large enough portions to fill you up. The breakfasts are also generous and varied. Also interesting is the offer of the wellness center in the form of massages and other activities, which are not a problem to order on the spot and the prices do not differ much from the regular prices in the city. Parking is possible directly at the hotel (although with the fact that there are blocked places for charging electric cars and, of course, also for the disabled, it is likely that it will be a bit difficult to find a parking place during a busy period, and given the location of the hotel on a hill, I would probably not want to deal with alternative options down in small town)

The pictures don't do it justice! We arrived at the peak of the spring, when all the acacia trees were in bloom. The fragrance... The birdsong... And the crickets... The location is simply superb, on top of one of the beautiful hills surrounding the Krapinske Toplice, the house surrounded itself by selected trees and carefully cared for garden, with generous parking and loads of sitting areas all for yourself. The top floor is the one you'll get and it's all yours. The lovely and very friendly host, Jadranka lives downstairs and she is very helpful with advice and guidance if needed.
The house is tastefully decorated and usefully equipped with everything you need. The beds are very comfortable, the mattresses are premium, the pillows memory foam, the bedsheets 100% cotton of the highest grade.
The location is very quiet, no traffic, no neighbours (well, one just down the hill but impossible to hear or see anything) , very private. The nights are blissfully quiet and as dark as the starry sky allows it, undisturbed by any nearby artificial lighting as the bedroom windows are facing the valley at the back of the house and the other side of the hill from the town. The water is very clean, sourced and pumped from a nearby spring in the hills. You're literally drinking spring water at the kitchen taps.
There is A/C but we didn't need to use it as in the day we were out and in the night slept with the widows open leaving the night air cool the room. The widows are fitted with nets, which can be rolled up for unspoiled views but rolled back down to keep night bugs out.
The thermal baths Aque Vivae are 20min walk, highly recommend rather than driving. The Terme Tuhelj baths are 10-15 min drive. Both have plenty of activities for kids and adults alike. Tuhelj sauna complex is larger and more varied, has a cool dip pool, a mud sauna and all the other varieties. The Aquae Vivae has a smaller but newer sauna area, much quieter, less busy.

We chose the apartment for a break on our way to Croatia just to spend the night and go further. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. We had three apartments. All of them were clean and perfectly prepared. The kitchen was fully equiped, so that there was no problem to prepare coffee and breakfast. I absolutely recommend this host!

We really enjoyed the tub in the room, very relaxing. I enjoyed treatments I paid for, very nice atmosphere overall. We had half board, both were very good quality food, always served by nice staff.
Location was perfect, easy to find and just 3 minutes walking distance from Aquae Vivae. Konzum, children playground and nice pizzeria are also within 5 min walking distance. Groceries Spar and Plodine are within 10 minutes drive and local tourist attractions are within 30 minutes drive.
A nice flat near to the Aqua Vivae bath with kitchen and sleeping room in one and a balcony for relaxing in the evening. Very well made up and renovated. Friendly host and dog :-P
The location was superb, lovely views, close to facilities, yet quiet and peaceful. Lovely walks, splendid scenery. It will live long in our memory, the surrounding countryside is magnificent, rolling hills, picturesque villages, verdant green fields, beautiful vineyards. The Apartment was wonderful, very modern and well laid out with quality furniture and facilities. A credit to the owners.
