I would honestly struggle to find any fault with The Rising Sun. From the moment we arrived and were shown to our lovely sea view room, the doggie bag of treats for our furry friend, the unmissable food, the brilliant bar staff, ample full English, lovely and kind lady that was cleaning downstairs at 7.30am when I took the dog put, right through to the biscuits in the room, our stay was perfect. The room was sparkly clean, we had a lovely big bath tub, it was quiet but fun...like a weekend away with old friends - everyone was great and did an excellent job. It was my second stay at Poltair and was just as enjoyable as the previous one. This place is a gem: comfortable beds, large room with a lovely view and a little balcony. This is a small guest house and the owners take very good care of the place and their guests. The staff are all lovely. There are many little extra touches too, such as a little bottle of wine and chocolate in the room on arrival. I will definitely choose them again when I am next in Falmouth.
