Beautiful location and base for exploring the island. Close enough to Bowmore to pop into town for a meal. Can walk it but a bit tough in the dark, so recommend a car (not sure you can easily navigate the island without one). That said, Jim does provide a taxi and whiskey tour service, which we didn't use since we had a car but I am sure it would have been a hoot - Jim is a proud islander who is happy to share his love of the island with guests. He and his wife, Caroline, were very welcoming and cook up a mean breakfast. We felt right at home and the bed was sooooo comfy. Thank you :)

Absolutely fantastic place!.
Exceptional good beds and exclusive bathroom.
The host Thomas was extremely service minded and served us coffe and cakes when we arrived. Very good beakfast ! (I took an omelette and fresh berries and espresso) A cosy living room to share with other gests.
Offering plenty of five-star-worthy features, these plush properties may provide plenty of optional extras such as on-site dining and valet parking. Many can be found in central locations near to major landmarks and shopping areas, and you can expect above-average service from the hotel staff.
Its aptly named as Seal cottage because we did see seals from outside of the cottage. Stunning views and what lovely location of the cottage. Comfortable and pleasant stay
Everything about it was fantastic, the hosts were wonderful and the room was beautiful. Location is unbeatable and the room and facilities were everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and the communication was great. Would love to go back!
Everything! Great communication with very friendly hosts; beautiful bedroom and bathroom; exceptional breakfast; fabulous location. Lots of extra touches: bathrobes and slippers, toiletries, refrigerated fresh milk.
