Waterloo House is probably the best place that we have stayed in when in Scotland. There is lots of room and all 3 bedrooms have excellent en suites. The view from the living room is amazing. Who doesn't like to see a deer on the top of a rock with lochinver harbour in the background.
I almost dont want to say how good it is as I dont want anyone booking the times we wish to go back.

loved the house - so cosy with the log burner and comfy reclining sofas. Fantastic kitchen and dining table. Great views from living room and kitchen over an animal farm next door - such funny animals. So close to epic walks and days out! Absolutely loved our stay! Owner was really quick to respond as well.
Clachtoll was stunning! We walked the coast, chambering over rocks, looking out to the epic views. Recommend walks: Clachtoll beach to the Broch via the old croft village behind the information centre.
Cliff walking other side of Clachtol beach where the spilt rocks are. phenomenal views.
Walk to Achmelvic via the old mill - right off mill goes to beach. left path goes to Archmelvic.
We climbed Stac Pollaidh - the views were some of the best I've ever experienced in my life! Drive the coast route to it, such beautiful landscape.
Lockinver great for supplies, fish restaurant and shopping.
Other nearby attractions: Information hut behind campsite. Geopark is so fascinating. Bone Cave. Old man of Stoer.
Thank you so much for having us! It was absolutely magical - the highlight of our roadtrip.

Absolutely everything. Such a slice of luxury during our road trip around Scotland. Gorgeous location, wonderful shower, super friendly and helpful hosts/owners. Amazing breakfast. Honestly loved our stay. Everything was luxury, soaps, linen bed spreads, Denby crockery - goes a long way with me, so thank you. We’d love to return someday.

The house was just as described and perfect for us. The location was simply amazing with fantastic views out over loch Broom and the Summer Isles. Ten out of ten.
Offering plenty of five-star-worthy features, these plush properties may provide plenty of optional extras such as on-site dining and valet parking. Many can be found in central locations near to major landmarks and shopping areas, and you can expect above-average service from the hotel staff.
This house was perfect for 2, and so stylish and clean. Great location for walking in the hills, and near village centre where there are 2 fantastic restaurants.
Stunning location, overlooking Lochinver. Rooms are very comfortable and we had a great sea view from the bedroom.
The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable, considering the standard and quality.
Very friendly staff and very welcoming.
It’s wonderful how they have kept the cottages and renovated with all the modern day amenities. We stayed at the cottage down by the river. With the windows closed you could not hear the river (so you can sleep). It felt like going back in time and being in nature.
The large house is very charming, fishing tackle and rods everywhere as decor. The bar and dining rooms are so cosy and comfortable. It’s a beautiful property. The dinner was very good, as was breakfast in the sun room.
