The room was a good size, well appointed and very clean. The TV has English programmes. It also had a balcony with a view toward the harbour. Depending on your request and availability, they have balconies at the front overlooking the beach. Its a 20 minute walk to the restaurants in Intramuros which makes for a pleasant evening stroll. Parking is onsite although is chargeable (usual for most hotels). There is a SPA, but we did not utilise. Breakfast is sufficient and closes at 10:00. When checking in, the guy on the front desk was very helpful and gave suggestions for local attractions and good restaurants. We visited a couple of places suggested and he was right. All in all a very nice few days away hotel experience.

It's rare to find a Corsair mansion in St Malo that didn't burn during the war. Somehow, this place survived and was carefully renovated. So, if you're lucky enough to book, you get to stay in a piece of history. The 20 ft ceilings with oak paneling for the early part of the 1700's are rather special as is the gourmet kitchen and modern furniture! The owner and his host are always available too. It's also in a perfect location within the walls of St Malo. Highly recommended.

The location and the free parking were the main ressons we chose the hotel. Perfect for a 2nights stay and also convenient for driving around the area, without entering the city center. There is also an option to use public transport to get to the city centre, we however didn't use. We also didn't take breakfast.
Staff were very friendly, hotel was cleanest I have stayed in in a long time. Decor of the foyer and rooms was modern and stylish. Shower was good, bed was comfortable. Parking next to hotel was only €1 for the night and the receptionist told us it was free for a certain overnight period. Ideal location. We will be returning.

We appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, the private parking (at extra cost, but conveniently located in the hotel), the cleanliness of the rooms, the location close to the center but not in the busiest area, and the breakfast.
The location is perfect ! The view is wonderful and there are bars and restaurants within walking distance, parking was easy also .
La cabine is well equipped , we had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable with good quality linen . The whole apartment is clean , modern and tastefully presented. The balcony is a huge bonus , we enjoyed relaxing watching the world go by .

Category is not as usual 4 stars hotel standard. Poor and small room, no 4 stars standard facilities. Extra charge for breakfast 22 EUR was not in balance with poor choice and quality.
