Very nice, newly renovated, clean hotel. It maintains the traditional bavarian style with modern amenities. Breakfast is extensive and the staff very nice.
- Good Location, quiet but very near to the bus station as well as the lake side. it is very convenient to get to the other towns around the lake even if you don’t have a car.
- Host is very friendly
- Room is modernised, good size, well equipment and have a nice view
- There is a common room where you can put your stuff into a fridge, or buy drinks from the host
- Breakfast is typical German style but you can order freshly made egg. the host also remember what I like to drink ;)

chalet-style hotel, updated with modern and stylish touches, three minutes walk from the edge of the lake.
Staff were very helpful and we enjoyed everything about our stay in Bad Wiessee.
Easy and convenient on public transport from Munich - don’t bother the expense of hiring a car!
I loved my stay at the Askania Hotel. The location is excellent, the personnel is very kind, and the style keeps the magic of the old wooden mountain houses. Special mention to the breakfast. The room could be a little bit more modern (bathroom mostly).
I do very recommend this hotel if you want a cozy stay at the Tegernsee.
Location was excellent right on the lake. The room was nicely renovated with "light Bavarian" furnishings and the entire hotel very clean. They offered a good selection for breakfast until 11am. Nice size indoor pool and quite a few saunas and steam room. Bikes were available for rental and the staff was quite helpful with our various requests.
The location of the hotel is probably the best for Bad Wiessee. It is very close to the city center and the beach by the lake (only 3 mins by foot to both). The apartment kitchen is well equipped, and the rooms are spacious.
