Good location on the river bank. Pool was under repair but it was May so I wasn't about to swim. Staff helpful and friendly. Room was clean but a little cramped...good thing I was travelling solo.
The staff are exceptional. Hermitage Hill is undergoing extensive renovations so it’s very hard to rate atm. I would definitely stay here again and after it’s been fully renovated it will be exceptional. Loved the freshly picked flowers in a vase delivered to my door after arrival. The lemons from their fruit trees an added bonus. So kind of the owners to be so hospitable. Thank you!
Great place to stay in Wellington, location/staff/amenities. The grounds are fabulous, just a stones throw from everything… service station/pubs/coffee shop/liquor store/golf course/servo’s club/supermarket/fast-food options etc…
The location was perfect. Grounds and pool were fabulous. I stayed right over the riverside, peaceful and relaxing. The bathroom was renovated, and I had everything I needed in my room. Air conditioner worked a treat. Definitely would recommend if staying or travelling through Wellington.
Also, in walking distance…The grand hotel was an amazing pub feed.
