This he volunteeringly did without us requesting. Further he gave us his fullest support for preparing food early morning Kiri pidu Dahana which is a religious ceremony. Food prepared by him was exceptional. What we wanted he prepared and was so delicious, we all ate above our capacity. Very comfortable, Luxuriously and Spacious rooms. Our next stay is definitely at this premises. We have even mentioned to all our friends on this experience and to make sure they visit this place. Guys traveling by train has the station at its door step. Lovely, peaceful quite environment.

Was our first time trying a home stay but we do not regret our decision at all. Mohammad is the best host, he organised the trips for us. He also cooked us lunch & breakfast which was delicious. I highly recommend staying here 5 stars
We had a fabulous experience at Ivy Lake. The guys running it went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, especially Mahindra, who prepared us fantastic meals and great coffee. The room was sparkling clean, aircon super cool, wifi really good, five stars all round! Location was close to the monument park.

Amazing oasis in the jungle with exceptional 5 star service Wanda and Leo make you feel at home.The pool is so relaxing after a day out exploring the cultural triangle which the hotel is ideally placed for. There is lots of wildlife around which we love, especially the chipmunks. Do not hesitate to book, we didn't want to leave.
I was afraid earlier great reviews might be too favourable. They were not! It is a small hotel but perfectly formed with exceptional staff and manager. The chefs (3) were outstanding and food the best. I know this sounds too good to be true but is the truth. Try this place and see for yourself. I cannot praise the staff and chefs too highly, overseen by a very customer focussed manager. Better than the 5* hotel I stayed at in Colombo
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Alakamanda, Anuradapura Sri Lanka, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The luxurious and clean accommodations, comfy beds, coupled with exceptional service, made my stay truly memorable. My dining experience at the restaurant was truly exceptional. I would say the best food we had in Sri Lanka in my entire trip.
Host is very welcoming and gives great recommendations. The host provides you with the head of local tourist organization, who gave us a wonderful tour through Anuradhapura. The facility offers delicious breakfast and outstanding home cooked dinner, of which you should definitely request the traditional dynamite chicken.

We had an amazing experience there !!! I have no words to describe the staff kindness and help during our stay. The place is beautiful with the luxuriant garden. The breakfast is a 5 stars breakfast and the dinner was really good. Also a super value for the price. We even received a gift for our departure. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay for one or many nights. Thank you all !
