This was a wonderful location set in beautiful leafy surroundings with direct, card-controlled access to one of the finest beaches in the Algarve. Just 15 minutes by Uber into the city of Albufeira, we enjoyed the serene neighbourhood well attended by little shops, cafes and pizza, Chinese and Indian restaurants.
The pleasing architecture of the hotel itself, designed to maximise the flow of air and accentuate the elements of water and nature, and the welcoming staff at the entrance, set the pace for a peaceful haven indeed and a reviving stay.
The food at Epic Sana, in the three restaurants that were open at the time of our visit , ranged between positively good (Abyad buffet) and exceptional (Al Quimia). The hospitality was excellent. We may have stayed in some of the best hotels in the world, but I think Epic Sana staff were exceptional. Attentive, intuitive, courteous, charming and consistently helpful. The facilities, the Spa, the pool we utilised were clean and well-maintained.
The beautiful one bed Suite had two bathrooms, much to the delight of the family. A well thought out and equipped kitchen, which we did use. The spacious Suite had a vast balcony with a sweeping view of the grounds inviting
one to lounge. Maintenance attended promptly when we reported a non-functioning socket. And we enjoyed their indulging us with chocolate each night when they came to turn down our bed covers. Yes, every night :)
We wished we had more time to spend. Our stay was 'heavenly' and restful. Just what one needed after a long year trying to make a living.

An outstanding property, spacious, luxurious, in a quiet residential area only a short walk from restaurants, a supermarket an the strip. Old town is only a 30 min walk away as well. Roof top pool felt like our own private pool for most of our stay as there are only 11 apartments in this small complex. Would highly recommend an will definitely be using again . 5 star property 👌
There is not much to say; this was an amazing, amazing place to stay, 5 minutes walk to the beach. While not luxurious per se, there were 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, with a large living area, which were all clean and nicely designed. The pool was great, the area was really quiet, and we had a great sleep during the whole stay. 5 stars. Parking is free next to the house.
Wonderful week spent at 3HB, I couldn't fault it. Amazing staff (my son loved Pedro!), nothing was too much trouble and it's a fantastic place for kids. The disco was great, and the food has something for everyone (especially me as I have allergies). The pools were superb, just a shame my son was too young for the slides, good excuse to come back next year!! Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay memorable...5 stars!!!
