Our stay at the hotel was amazing. From the room to the services, everything was exceptional. All the staff members (breakfast team, receptionists, drivers, and security guards) were always attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed, and made us feel like a piece of El Nido was home. Elize was particularly helpful during our stay, offering the best advice and being patient in answering all our requests. She truly made our stay even more enjoyable.
A big thank you to Dan for welcoming us so warmly and to Jonathan for the ride back to the airport.

We had the most amazing stay at The Funny Lion. The location is perfect-walking distance to find food and into town. The rooms were spacious and clean. The private beach is a must visit. We absolutely loved the restaurant on site with some of the yummiest meals we’ve had in Asia. Lastly, the staff were AMAZING! Incredibly kind, helpful and attentive. 5 stars overall and we look forward to coming back again! Thank you so much for having us.

We loved the staff and the beauty of the decor. They try to be a 5 star place but they are not (you are not paying for 5 stars ;). Still it is beautifull and the staff is very helpfull.
5 Stars for the team of young people working there. Lyn in the reception was so lovely and helpful in every situation. So thank you for that. Also they serve a basic breakfast - which was good. I was staying in the private room and am not really a hostel-person so can't really compare a lot. The hostel was very basic and generally had everything what needed. Room was big and clean.
The beach huts are quite simple, but clean and quiet.
But in the end the location - walking out of the door directly into the beach - is perfect ***** (5 Stars)!!

The owner Buboy is a great host -now my friend -him and his family are great -the hotel is a great price and the rooms clean and spacious in a quiet area away from the noisy tourists -cheap to get around even if you do not have a rented scooter-like 30 pesos from the hotel to the main town and great wi-fi .loved my stay here in beautiful el Nido -5 stars.
