The hotel is an old tea plant and is designed in a very colonial style way. Staff was attentive and nice. We also had the dinner included in our booking. Overall it's a good stay but it was the most expensive stay we had in Sri Lanka and compared to all other hotels given the price levels, we did not get the same comfort.

This charming little cottage lays in a gated community little outside of Nuwara Eliyah city Centre. Little England seems like a theme park and looks even a bit surreal in the middle of tea fields and farmers. The staff at Kent Cottage was super nice and friendly, helping out with anything you need during your stay. The breakfast was amazing and with good weather you can have breakfast in the neat little garden outside the cottage.

Everything about the villa was amazing. From the luxurious interior to the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, dam and tea plantations, our experience here was wonderful and a much needed getaway in an extremely calm and serene place. We were hosted by the very warm and cheerful Akila and served delicious meals prepared by the talented in-house chef.
Nice property in the high mountains of Sri Lanka with beautiful vistas on the agricultural landscape and mountains. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is literally running for you. The chef is serving a delicious diner. Pool table room with fantastic view. They try to position themselves on a luxury boutique level Realize you are on 2000mtr altitude so it is totally different from the rest of Sri Lanka. The sauna is gr8 on windy rainy days and the pool then serves to cool down.
La Grande Villa is a must to do if you are coming at NUWARA ELIYA. You can feel the luxury England atmosphere everywhere. The room is fabulous, the food is delicious and all the staff was so caring, so helpful and so nice. You can count on the receptionist Farhan if you need anything, count on the chef if you want to eat Sri Lankan, Indian or English food and count on the staff to makes you feel like a VIP guest. First of all the hotel location is very convenient as it’s in the middle of the city Nuwara Eliya. Their service is superb. All staff is very friendly and always in smiling face ready to help. The food is excellent, both sri lankan menu and English menu are very fresh & delicious. The room is in very good condition almost with the facilities of 5 star hotel. Hotel rooms and everything is as same as in the photos published and really worth for the price.
