we had room service breakfast ...brilliant. Everything was just lovely. So helpful. Free travel card and discounts to attractions. Lovely position almost on the lake. Staff delighful. The most amazing suite with two of everything, two TVs, two sinks, two rooms, two toilets, two double wardrobes, two sofas, two tables, two balconies and even two big proper keys, with those old fashioned tassles. Booking a hotel like the Royal Savoy naturally sets high expectations due to its stellar reputation and premium value. I’m delighted to share that every one of those expectations was not only met but exceeded, making my stay nothing short of perfection.
When the accommodation is just as important as the destination, a five-star stay should give that extra ‘wow’ factor as you enter the lobby. As well as offering the kind of service to make you feel like royalty, you’ll usually find highly rated on-site spas, gourmet restaurants and top-of-the-line beds you won’t want to get out of.
The location and chalet were superb - the view is outstanding, the jacuzzi enjoyable and the chalet was very comfortable with most everything we needed. The bed is so comfortable too. The hosts were exceptional in their desire to help, provide us transport into town or the train station and generally be available. They went above and beyond to assist when my wife lost her phone (which was found!). We are so glad we stayed at this quiet, private, hillside retreat! Thank you Nildo and Christophe!

The view overlooking Lake Geneva is exceptional, so be sure to book a room with balcony on the lakeside. Our room was on the top floor with 2 balconies on the front overlooking the lake, and 2 balconies on the side. It was very large, with an equally large bathroom. The entire hotel is superbly decorated and elegant. The staff was outstanding in every respect, from the doormen and valets, to the reception and concierge, to the restaurant staff, as well as housekeeping. The restaurant was delightful with an interesting menu.
This is a 3 star hotel with a 5 star location. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the lake, and couldn't have been happier. And the welcome we got from Davide was amazing - he gave us a detailed run down on what to do in Montreux and could not have been more helpful.
Everything about this hotel is perfection. Staff are the perfect balance of warm and welcoming professionalism, whether at the front desk, the restaurant, cocktail bar or at breakfast. Amazing view, lovely room, top notch breakfast, even the room service was outstanding. This is by far the best hotel stay I have had in Switzerland.
The view was nice and as the hotel has old rooms, the size is bigger than current 5-star hotels, but that's pretty much it. Definitely not worth 300 a night.
