The staff were great and very attentive. I love the intimacy of the hotel. Was very impressed with the breakfast. Pastries and bread were wonderful and presentation was also good until I asked for scrambled eggs and were served to me in a cereal bowl. Was a bit disappointed with the Eggs Benedict served without ham, but for the most part it was lovely. I will come back again.

Absolutely superb hotel. Can’t fault it one bit. Room 5 star , super clean ,fantastic location , quiet and 5mins walk from centre , literally end of street for chair lift for skiing. , food was superb, staff brilliant. You can book private hour for wellness area free !

Amazing architecture inside the hotel -- walls, ceiling, floors made of wood. Tranquil pool and spa. Fantastic facilities -- real luxury. Our penthouse suite had magical views of the village and surrounding mountains.

Totally renovated and beautiful located in the Gstaad area. Parking for free. Opposite the train station of Schönried. The breakfast is absolutely good and some 5 star hotels can’t compete with!
1. Staff were so incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially with regards to our 1 year old child as well as shuttling myself and my partner across town.
2. Food at the hotel was delicious.
3. Hotel amenities were outstanding - the kids play room was superb, the fitness centre was high class and the indoor pool was magnificent.
All in all, AEC went above and beyond what we were expecting. The hotel apartment was nothing short of amazing, the amenities were great, the pool was nice and clean, the kids facilities were great, the restaurant and breakfast was fantastic and despite being an upscale luxury place, still the hotel managed to bring a family vibe to it with its friendly staff etc. We loved every minute and will be back next year.
l like everything in hotel. they have a car pick you up from train station of Gstaad to hotel for free with out any pay . The view was amazing in family room, the bathroom was very good, the staff was friendly and always smiling, everything was very good. And I classify this hotel as a five star hotel. Thank you for everything
This was our fourth stay in Ermitage,We like the hotel and the region; wellness and the pools. The staff was pleasant however we noticed that since last year there was a big change in staff. The 5 star hotel professionalism and skills as you expected in some cases were not there and occasionally the staff needed remaining or repeating the request.
The staff across every area are exceptionally friendly. They couldnt do enough for us... and the restaurant is 5 star... amazing food and service... quite a gem.
