The room was very clean, the linen exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the historical farmhouse (built in 1776) where meals were served. The staff was very helpful in answering questions and providing customs meals.

We are a group of 8 people and really enjoying our stay at the Den Hagen Guest Farm, the house is homey, and the location is very serene and beautiful, the perfect escape to refresh your head and mind.

Rustic farmhouse experience, just what we needed. Would love to stay for a week with friends or family. The optional dinner and breakfast we decided to take was delicious and the instructions how to prepare the food, was a nice touch. Definitely need a 4x4 to get to the cottage.

Brenda and Ivan are such lovely people they welcomed us at our arrival. Loved the house and the history of it. Wish we could stay longer to walk around the farm

The hosts, Fred and Carla, and food are exceptional. The addition of an outside pool and seating area is lovely and we spent the whole evening outside enjoying the summer night and Carla’s local nibble platter and wine.

Located 14km from Maclear, Fairbairn Guest Farm is set amongst tranquil surroundings and features a garden, barbecue facilities and the Maclear Country Club & Golf Estate is a 15-minute drive away. Limited free WiFi is offered at Fairbairn. The accommodation was brilliant. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Setting was stunning. Especially watching the rain fall while sitting on the porch. The service from Eben was spot on. He was very helpful and, when requested, he gave us great advice on travel routes.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. just off the highway to have a good rest before we keep driving.
