Ilirska Bistrica
At the farm stay, units are equipped with a wardrobe. Each unit comes with a desk and a flat-screen TV, and certain units at the farm stay have a terrace. At the farm stay, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. Amazing place for family with kids, but also for couples who love good food and nature. There are animals all around, farms, cats, dogs, ducks, a donkey, deers. Fantastic trouts grown right there, you can have them smoked or grilled, nice meat restaurant next door, local honey, amazing pancakes for breakfast etc. A petanque field for adults, toys for kids, forests and mountains all around. And most importantly - very lovely hosts, they are attentive to you of us well above average. Very safe - you can leave everything open, even for the night. We stayed for 3 nights, but feel should have done more. Will be back.

Each room is fitted with a private bathroom. Wonderful place! We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment with a lovely balcony. The beds were comfortable! This family owned business is a great place. The breakfasts were great (wonderful pastries), and the one dinner we had was huge and flavorful. The staff were welcoming and answered our questions about the area. I loved hearing the donkey sing and the peacock crow. The dogs and cats were adorable and the walk to the nearby village of Brce a great exploration of the area.

Stylishly modern rustic and totally immaculate. Room enormous, vaulted with balcony. Delightful staff and exciting cuisine in elegant ‘glass’ barn restaurant.
Amazing location with history - a converted barnhouse that is also a meeting point for locals it seems. The owners are hardworking and friendly, and they offer mostly local items for breakfast, which was great. Bed is very comfortable, and the room was clean and spacious. Plenty of parking as well, along with goats that can be pet!
Urban and his family were the most gracious hosts we could have hoped for! The food was amazing and the property is beautiful! Urban was kind enough to show us around and tell us all the cool things they do to make their farm and guest house sustainable. Comfortable, clean room and bathroom as well. We highly recommend!
Spacious, nice farm area. Very close to Postojna cave, so it is reasonable for 1 night.
Few minutes by car from Postojna caves, big parking lot, quiet location, friendly hosts, quick check in, specious and clean room, complementary toiletries, comfortable bed, great heating (stayed in December), great breakfast (all homemade products), kids loved the goats farm and the trampoline and lovely restaurant with tasty food for dinner.
In a gorgeous rural location with a super restaurant within walking distance. Glorious forested hills and farmland near a lake. We had two adjoining spacious rooms with a connecting balcony, plenty of cupboard space even a fridge and great shower. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. Tasty breakfast of home grown fruit and vegetables. Most of all we loved the area
The apartment is located below the farmhouse so it was nicely cool inside. Breakfast is served right outside the apartment door, so you can take whatever food you like and eat it inside your apartment. The apartment isn't very big, but the layout makes it spacious. Beds are fine. Very nice hosts. Location seems a bit remote, but stores and restaurants are not that far away.
