We were met by the charming and effusive owner Claudino, who showed us around his extensive property full of vines, lemon trees, kiwi fruit, orange trees; also a swimming pool, only just opened for the season (which we didn't make use of). Claudino offered us wine and homemade cake before showing us our room, which was small, but cozy and totally adequate. He also served us an excellent home cooked dinner, accompanied by his home brewed vinho verde tinto and later port; all of which were delicious. Breakfast was also delicious and plentiful. Claudino suggested we visit the spectacular Parque da Penha on our way to Porto, which we did, and which we would highly recommend too.

There is a parking right next to the property and a small market at the corner with local products. The room was very clean and spacious offering views to the garden and valley.

The farm stay has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. What we liked the most was expert advice from the owner's son. His suggestions of where to visit in the national park on certain days were spot-on. His knowledge on the area was extremely helpful. He suggested the best order to visit the sites in the park on a certain weather and the roads to take, so that we don't waste our limited time we were there. The owner and his wife were very nice. The breakfast and dinner were very good with local produce. The presentation of the meals was beautifully done. The room we stayed was very quiet.

Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a bidet and a hair dryer, the units at the farm stay have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and selected rooms are equipped with a terrace. At the farm stay, every unit includes bed linen and towels. So clean and Felipa who attended us was so friendly snd accomodating

Situated in Ponte da Barca, within 37 km of Sao Bento da Porta Aberta Sanctuary and 40 km of Canicada Lake, Olhares do Lobo - Restaurante Lobo features accommodation with a shared lounge as well as free private parking for guests who drive. There is a private entrance at the farm stay for the convenience of those who stay. The farm stay has family rooms. The whole place was just fantastic. The family who run the hotel were so hospitable and absolutely wonderful, welcoming and accommodating. The property is well cared for and Immaculately clean and tidy. such a lovely and comfortable stay. we had a problem with our booking on arrival due to a mix up with booking.com not adding the additional person and the Manager Jose handled it very well and very professionally.

Modern and character beautifully combine in this property. Everything is as described plus a cool new BBQ area. Immaculately clean, cool and quiet indoors. Generous breakfast was a bonus. We really enjoyed the June blueberry harvest and would not hesitate to return.

Amazing views and property! We spent 2 days and did not want to leave. Room was very comfortable and sufficiently equipped. Wine and food was very delicious. The staff did everything to make us comfortable. They even prepared breakfast for us the night before because we had to leave early the next morning. Absolutely the best. There are nice towns in the area if you would like to visit around - hotel staff helps to find the best options and restaurants.
