Castelo Branco
The kitchenette includes a microwave, refrigerator, oven, cutlery and a dining area, where guests can enjoy their meals. Outdoor barbecue facilities are also available as well as a snack bar, for lighter meals. A breakfast buffet is served each morning with diverse farm products, for all guests of the country house. Room service is available, upon request. The area/garden is amazing. There are many indoor and outdoor places to relax. Everything is super tidy and well maintained. The hosts are very friendly and you can tell they love what they do.
Capelo
The farm stay with a terrace and sea views features 2 bedrooms, a living room, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, and 2 bathrooms with a walk-in shower. Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the patio, which also has outdoor furniture. Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne. location is a hidden gem, great view to ocean and really few neighbours. rabbits are hopping in the street, the vicinity is very quiet. nice bbq facility, with great outdoor breakfast spot. terrace is providing nice view. fully equipped house. host is very helpful and kind, responsive to questions, find solution for all questions. wifi is working cool.
Horta
Complete with a private bathroom fitted with a shower and a hair dryer, all units at the farm stay have a TV and air conditioning, and certain rooms are fitted with a patio. At the farm stay, every unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. Breakfast, general hospitality, staff friendliness, it was really really good. The care taker lady was really nice and very helpful at all the times. I recommend anyone to stay at quinta do canto. Also, the whole rustic environment, really takes you back to the past with all the modern commodities. Breakfast was straight forward, very regional with a nice little selection of jams and cheese, also scrambled eggs and sausage or bacon, overall it was simple but delicious, enough to start the day full of energy.
Horta
The farm stay has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a terrace with sea views. Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the patio, which also has outdoor furniture. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. We stayed in the seperate house which seemed to be quite new. The Apartment was very well equipped and spacious. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The location is calm and silent. we would definitely recommend to go there :)
Praia do Norte

After staying in 2 hotels in Horta town before, this a bit more inland location struck me with its quiet rural atmosphere. Plenty of places to sit in the property's gardens - where the wifi is good !
We loved the amazing location, a stones throw from an idyllic swimming inlet and two swimming pools. The road down to Varadouro is beautiful, a twisting road lined with flowers. The property was simplistic and rustic but comfortable. The breakfast was continental style. Bread rolls, local jams, cheese, ham, juice, coffee. Simple but very nice and plentiful. The rooms were cleaned daily. The price was amazing.
I like the property a lot. It’s a gorgeous place, I highly recommend everyone to stay here. It’s a beautiful farm where you will live with the nature, wake up and go sleep with birds 🐦 have breakfast with a farm and domestic food 🤤 Ana and while staff is so kind and helpful. Thank you a lot with the opportunity to stay with dog, for helping with the car rent and helping and keeping in touch when our flight was rescheduled.
Beautifull house and kind owners. It is situated close enough to Horta to be part of town but far enough to enjoy a rural atmosphere. Sadly the weather was rather grey when whe where there as the pool looked very tempting. The overal style of the gardens and building is very nice. A pleasant eye for detail.
The location is perfect since our flight was early in the morning, we arrived the airport in 5 mins walk! Love this farm! The planets, flowers, the garden... also the furnitures, the chairs, tables, lamps.... all ! Plus the great host Ana, nice and warm. We regret that we didn't stay longer!
