If you want to stay at home, this is the right choice for you. You are free to use the kitchen. The breakfast is delicious. You record the drinks you consume on trust and pay when you leave. The rooms are clean, although small. The bed is comfortable. Very quiet neighborhood (you might be woken up by a rooster at 4am). The yard and plants are very neat (the pool is very small and needs renovation). Wi-Fi , is excellent. You need a car or Uber to get to the city, or you can use a free bike. Convenient to explore the Schist villages (we went to Piódão and Foz d’Egua) and hiked the 5k circular Talasnal/Castelo Lousã trail nearby.

A beautiful gigantic camelia tree grows beside it and the woner keeps peapocks. Inside it is full of old nineteenth centrur or oder paintings and arttefacts so it is a nice place for a person like history and victorian-like interior. The owner is super friendly and the breakafst is really large.

Vasco was so nice and gave us great information. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Really magical place.

It has all the essential amenities. The surroundings of the house are amazing, incredible landscape and we get to relax and enjoy it from private terrace belonging to the house.
