We enjoyed so much the stay in this beautiful place. We arrived very late and Rosalio made us great dinner and let us feel totally home. The rooms were very clean and the view is fabulous in this little beautiful village. The hosts even made us a tour in their small vinery. The breakfast is great and homemade, and the communication with the place was perfect!

The rooms were large with views of the hills. There was a nice pool and garden area. It was a very quiet space and they provided a very personal experience. Breakfast was cooked fresh in the morning and delicious! I wish we could have stayed longer :)

We stayed in the 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit with another couple and our 5 month old and the space had everything we needed and then some. Pools were perfect for cooling off during the hot days. Our favorite spot was the patio outside the apartment with Adirondack Chairs overlooking the Quinta. Now for the best part of the stay — the hosts!! Anabela and José are the best. They are warm, wonderful hosts that made us feel right at home. They did everything they could to make our stay excellent and were so accommodating with our 5 month old. They had great recommendations for what to do in the area and put up with our million questions about the history of the quinta . Make sure you select the option to do the dinner at the Quinta. Anabela’s cooking is amazing and José is a wonderful dinner host — some of our best meals and conversations when visiting the Douro were here. We will definitely be coming back just to hang out with them again and to eat more of Anabela’s meals 🙂
