Guests can enjoy an ambient stay in their soundproof room with parquet floors and a fireplace. The property has an outdoor dining area. We enjoyed a wonderful holiday here. The location was perfect - absolutely beautiful rural surroundings, yet still within driving distance from Bergen airport. The accommodation was much more spacious than we were expecting too. The owners are really friendly and we had everything we needed.

The bedrooms were comfortable and recently updated and decorated very nicely. The breakfast that is handmade by Maria is wonderful. The bedrooms are on the third floor of the house with shared restrooms on the second and third floors. Maria was very responsive and helpful with questions leading up to our stay.

The farm house is equipped with a kitchen, living room, bathroom and upstairs 2 bedrooms. The spacious garden with trampoline, tree-house cottage and children's' bicycles make this accommodation ideal for a stay with younger guests. The owners were very friendly and helped with any questions we had about the area. We stayed 6 nights and it was perfect. Easy to get the train in to Bergen, or explore the island by car. The facilities were very clean and the kitchen well stocked. The living space was generous.
Bolstadøyri

We liked the rural location, quiet and away from the village but only a short walk to the centre. We liked the farm animals and being able to walk round the outskirts of Flåm right from the apartment. The apartments look pleasant, but there are a few lorries and diggers on the road approaching. We didn't see any staff at all so can't comment on what they were like, but communication was good.
Absolutely loved our time here! Mara was a wonderful host and great to talk to and very happy to help. It was home from home. The farmhouse is beautiful and the kitchen extremely well equipped. We were the only guests for the 2 nights. The sun room was perfect for relaxing after a day’s exploring. Highly, highly recommend!
Wonderful set of old houses and a farmhouse for staying. Just a 10 minute walk to the downtown and it was nice to be a little outside of the hustle and bustle.

It is a little far from the center of town (15 min walking) but nicely situated overlooking the fjord. The building we stayed in (White Hostel) was a nicely restored farmhouse with a comfortable shared living room and a well-equipped kitchen.
Beautiful location in charming farmhouse buildings. Fabulous dinners. Owner sent us on an amazing hike off the beaten track. Easy walk to Folk Museum.
This is not a hostel, but a hotel with 4 stars really! Everything is new, recently renovated and under further improvement. Room is huge and offers a spectacular fjord view. The building is a former farm barn nicely redesigned! Bathrooms are superb, specious and with high quality materials and equipment. Bed linen is included, that is out of expectations!!! Location is magnificent! Old pear trees are in blossom! Highly recommended.
