A very nice and big apartment (2 bedrooms, one big living room with a kitchen) in a lovely area! The owner was very kind and helpful, the bathroom was very clean. There was enough space, so that even our little daughter could freely play and run around the apartment. I sincerely recommend this apartment for a longer stay to explore southern Norway!
Forsand
The farm stay features some units that have mountain views, and each unit has a private bathroom and a wardrobe. At the farm stay, all units are allergy-free.
A minimarket is available at the farm stay.
We had a private entrance, private bathroom, and plenty of space.
It has a lovely traditional farmhouse feel. The rooms are comfortable and the staff really friendly and professional. We had a superb dinner and the breakfast was excellent. Easy to find with plenty of parking.
One of the best accomodations I’ve ever had. Absolutely stunning views of the fjord, a lot of animals from the farm (sheep, goats, cats) roaming around freely. Very good interaction with the owners.
We really enjoyed the atmosphere in the farm and in the old wooden house. We did some amazing hikes in the nearby area (crater), and also Janneke gave a short tour in the farm to see the animals. I liked the details in the house to make our stay comfortable and memorable.
Short drive to Preikestolen. The bathrooms and cooking area were modern. The view of the fjord and the farm animals were very nice. Different experience from other places we stayed on our 2 week vacation.
The best location to hike on Preikestolen, amazing view to the lake, very good restaurant and nice people! We spent 6 nights there, in the nature. From Preikestolen BaseCamp we went to visit Stavanger, hike Kjeragbolten and visit Haugesund (2h drive), Viking Farm,The National Monument, etc.
Amazing views in all directions!! The island is quite rustic and picturesque and is much much better than staying in nearby Stavanger. Took an amazing walk and circumnavigated the island in our car to see sheep and mountain/ocean views. The restaurant on premises was good but the prices for drinks were exorbitant.
Very cute, old world Norway 🇳🇴 😍 dairy farm converted into a comfortable hotel complex. There are not many other choices around here but this place is worth the stop. The buildings are remarkable and the souvenir/candle store is amazing 👏 . The restaurant served up a quality dinner very quickly and the breakfast buffet was outstanding with all you can ask for. 😋 Our room was very very comfortable and warm with heated floors in the bathroom. We even had goats and a small stream, right outside our bathroom. Highly recommended 👌
Spacious farmhouse on a beautiful location, with spectacular view on the fjord. Nearby all the Lysefjord hiking trails (e.g. Preikestolen). Very welcoming host who gives good advise about the area. We definitely recommend this!
The staff is exceptionally helpful. The hotel has an unique rustic charm - we liked it a lot, like we went a century back in time. The food was OK as well. The lobby is cozy with a truly amazing view, we spent a few hours there watching the snowfall with a glass of wine.
