Breakfast really nice, location is stunning. We were there on our honeymoon, ideal romantic location. Very close to local small villages.

It being springtime, the grounds were also beautiful, lush with wildflowers and singing birds and frogs. We also really enjoyed: the homemade breakfast buffets, the peacefulness and privacy of our room, and the comfortable bed. Casalino18 is also well-located, within a 15-45 minute drive of most sites of interest in Siena province.

It is set 18 km from Palazzo Chigi-Saracini and provides luggage storage space. The farm stay also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. When I booked accommodation in this locality, I didn't know what was waiting for me. We arrived very late and the narrow dirt road alternating with the macadam road seemed scary at night. We were quite tired and it was dark, but the morning showed the true beauty of this place. The sound of birds that occasionally interrupts the perfect silence, and the mix of different wonderful smells that change as you walk through the courtyards of this complex are incredible. Although we didn't book it right away, we had the option of a real Italian breakfast. What we didn't know was that the hostess and host (Veruska and Riccardo) who welcomed us actually prepare all the dishes themselves, which are mostly various pastries. They were very helpful and did literally everything we asked. The apartment we stayed in accommodates 6 people and was more than enough, a combination of an old building with modern and functional elements perfectly integrated. The apartment is part of a large house, but as a separate unit. Every morning here is a blessing. Morning coffee in the yard in front of our apartment with the sun passing over the pool and the small mountain are wonderful. You have several locations with tables and chairs, often under the trees or by the pool where you can sit, read your favorite book or whatever you like. This is a location I plan to visit with my whole family next time.

You are never more than an hour drive away from all the towns (Pienza, Arezzo, Cortona, etc). The closest town of Siena is only 25 minutes away. All the staff (Carlotta and Greta especially) were friendly throughout and helped us with anything we needed. I will definitely be back.
