Sebastiano was an amazing host. the place is beautiful and the food we had there (dinner and breakfast) was also really good.

All the staff are so lovely and hospitable, they really contribute so positively to the overall experience. My partner and I also had a beautiful dinner during our stay. Highly recommend.

Authentic Tuscan farmhouse, comfortable clean bedrooms, good breakfast
Ilaria and Nicola are the kindest, most gracious, helpful and generous hosts. Their property is beautiful, just a 10 min drive from Siena, the room was really clean and comfortable, and we spent a wonderful weekend enjoying the Tuscan countryside. We also had dinner at the farmhouse, home cooked by Ilaria and absolutely delicious! Really really recommend it!
The views cannot be beat! It was a true rustic farm stay, right in the vineyard and the mornings were absolutely gorgeous. The winery host was accommodating and provided a bottle of wine to enjoy.
Perfect rural Tuscan farm stay located on hilltop with beautiful views and lovely swimming pool - perfect for those hot Tuscan afternoons. Angela and Paulo created the most amazing and generous evening meals. Booking an evening meal is an absolute must when staying at this magnificent property.
Beautiful Rural Tuscany accommodation but only 15min walk up to Montepulciano. Lovely old furniture and pictures in the apartment in fitting with the age of the property. A farmhouse at one time? The family were so helpful and friendly all the time. Nothing was too much trouble. The views from the swimming pool and breakfast terrace were to die for. The wine the family produced at 5€ a bottle was excellent. We wished we were staying longer.

The whole thing was very professional, with stunning views and accomodation we didn't want to leave. The facilities include a quality restaurant, beautiful gardens,pool area with an infinity pool with fabulous views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. We stayed in a rustic open plan split level suite, tastefully decorated with exposed brickwork and beams (farm house style) with sumptuous furnishings.
We loved everything about our stay at Agriturismo Poggio Istiano. The surrounding area is so beautiful. The farm house and the room (almond tree) we had were immaculate. Tiziana and Christina were both very welcoming. They gave great suggestions on restaurants and what to do around the area. Breakfast was varied and plentiful (meats, cheeses, eggs, homemade pastries and jams, fresh fruit). We only wished we had stayed longer!
Paid for but didn’t have breakfast as we were all meant to be staying together in the one property as we were at a family wedding but apartments were not fit for purpose so we had to book another apartment at a separate location. So we met in the town and had breakfast together. I liked the real Tuscan farmhouse style accommodation.
Superb location for exploring the Val D’Orcia. Excellent staff. Authentic Tuscan farmhouse styles inside including a beautiful cellar restaurant. Rooms very well sized and clean. Would definitely recommend for exploring this area.
