I wanted a quiet place to stay after travelling all day. It was delightful. A lovely old farmhouse in rolling farmland. The hosts were very welcoming and interesting about all sorts of things. I loved the furniture and decorative details in my room, very comfortable but also with the quality of a bygone era.

I enjoyed the ease of checking in, and the lookout room as well onto the neighboring farm was a nice touch to the beautiful property!
The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The beds were comfy and the bed linens were immaculate. The rural location was peaceful and made a great base for visiting lots of places.
Exceptional, delicious, home made breakfast. Quiet beautiful countryside setting views. Peaceful area, with beautiful property with comfortable furniture. The farm animals was a huge plus for me, as I love watching peaceful animals. Sunset over the ocean can seen from property was special.
Beautiful rural setting with stunning night views of the city lights. Relaxing and welcoming. Close to the city with access to taxis.
Quiet place, with a farm. Beautiful surrounding. Spacious living area with large couches. Friendly and helpful host.
Lovely rural location and farmhouse with character. Great for accessing towns and visiting family. Immaculately clean and cosy room. Anne and Shaun were lovely hosts. Superb scrambled eggs and home made marmalade. Was lovely to hear about the history of the farm and the running of it just now. Made my small dog very welcome and it was lovely to meet the beautiful Nippy. Definitely will be back. Thank you :)
Breakfast was excellent with homemade marmalade! Very accommodating with a fire and allowed us to eat a late supper in the dining room. Gave me an excellent education on Irish farming and was great to see a traditional Irish farmhouse. Easy access to the Giant's Causeway and Glenveagh Castle.
The hosts, Sean & Anne, were very friendly and welcoming, yet unobtrusive in the right measure. The breakfast and facilities far exceeded expectation with the conservatory being a perfect haven in the mid February weather after a wet trip out. It’s location was ideal for day trips to Donegal, Derry and the N Coast with a couple of beautiful country parks nearby to walk the dog. Often when driven to select dog friendly establishments some compromises are required - not so at Ballyhargan Farm House. Highly recommended.
Beautiful old farmhouse with lots of idiosyncratic charm, our bedroom was pristine and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful and the scones on arrival were delicious. Angela is a terrific host, we’d happily stay here again any time.
