Invergarry
This peaceful Farm offers both self-catering and B&B accommodation and is nestled in the Highland glens. Situated midway between Fort William and Inverness, the farm is home to several Shetland ponies and a Donkey. Everything. The was was very cute and spacious, the farm is absolutely lovely and the hostess was the nicest when showing us around and booking a table for dinner near the farm.
We are a group of 8 fussy golfers from Australia and loved our 5 night stay at Tarrel Farmhouse..The location and facilities were fantastic but most of all our wonderful hosts made it very special .Thank you ladies.
The location was really good and the farmhouse was cozy. Neil is quite an amazing historian and also a great cook...our breakfast was very delicious and plentiful.
We loved being so near the castle, as that was our main reason for being at Dunvegan. The farmhouse is updated and was very comfortable for our families’ stay.
Believe me - this farm house has been the highlight of our trip to Scotland. In the end, we never wanted to leave. It's beautifully furnished, it's how you expect a Scottish cottage to be. Everything was super clean, comfortable and all in all, a very beautiful atmosphere. We even got provided wood to make a fire. The surroundings are quiet and you have nature right in front of your door. What can I say, a dream stay! Thank you so much for maintaining such a beautiful place this well
This little farmhouse is a dream. Breathtaking views from the lounge and dining room. Spacious kitchen and dining area – perfect for those who love to cook and entertain. Heating was great - it was comfortably warm throughout the house (even in January). It was too cold to sit outside but I assume it’d be very nice in summer.
Allison was a warm and wonderful host. She gave a tour around her farm and let us meet all the animals. She helped us with places to eat and to visit. The house was exactly as in the pictures and had spectacular views, amidst the middle of her farm. The impeccably decorated farmhouse-themed interiors gave us a very authentic feel of being a local.
Colaboll Farmhouse is ideally located to explore Sutherland. The house is well equipped and enjoys the benefit of a boot room where you can quickly dry wet coats and boots. There is a log burner in the lounge for the cooler evenings and two areas to dine. There are good shops near by to get groceries and highly recommend a visit to The Pier cafe in Lairg,
Beautifully renovated farm house, tasteful decor, well-equipped kitchen, great location for day trips to Isle of Skye walking trails. Booking also included free admission to the Dunvegan Castle and Gardens, which was a nice surprise.
Fabulous! We knew the property had received great reviews but we were blown away by this place! Our stay definitely exceeded our expectations. Jennie (we didn’t meet Joe) couldn’t have done enough for us. Breakfast was great & the lobster dinner was to die for! The setting is lovely, the rooms well appointed, clean, and quiet! What an incredible find. We’re so very happy we stayed at Tarrel Farmhouse and can’t wait to return!
