It’s a beautiful house in a lovely location just outside Seia. Elio is a wonderful host and does everything he can to make you feel welcomed. If you choose to have dinner there, his sister Gina cooks amazing food (in generous quantities) and you’ll spend some time getting to know the other guests and host, eating together at the dining table. The breakfast was great too, with lots of local products like figs and even homemade cheese. The dog was very sweet too!
Cantinho da Estrela is located in Seia and includes free WiFi access. The guest house is just 9 km from the green areas of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park.

We loved the location and character of the village. Easy parking on the streets. The house was welcoming the bedroom and toilet were a good size. Good aircon and host was lovely and accommodating.

Very pleasant overnight stay. Splendid rural location, clean and tidy rooms, friendly and engaging staff, cold beer and decent food too, from a buffet.. would happily return and recommend.
What didn’t we love about this place, the historic and rustic feel of Casa Das Obras. Despite being hundreds of years old it was very clean with lots of antiques and family portraits etc throughout. The pool room was incredible and breakfast plentiful. I could write a whole page on every room, the location, the town, the nearby hikes…. For a beer and a bite drop around the corner to Pizzaria Da Rosa and say hi to Antonio.
