This is not a stay this is a wonderful experience in the history for Portugal. One night is not enough to take in all that the house has to offer. And the hosts how have live here their entire lives are so welcoming and informative. If you are in this area do not miss this place.

A beautiful location "Casa da Urra" is an agricultural estate: specializing in wine production, cattle raising and rural tourism. A very peaceful location with stunning views of the vineyards and the city of Portalegre.
With lots of activities, tennis, swimming pool, cycling and running trails. There is also a small museum focusing on the decorative arts from various parts of Portugal.

Filipa and Rodrigo were very friendly and helpful hosts, very communicative and forthcoming.
The place is in a rural area among other farms, it is far from roads or other external noise.
It has a modern interior, large windows, nice bathroom, and comfortable beds.
Set in Marvão, Tapada da Rabela - Reserva Natural offers accommodation with a private pool. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the farm stay free of charge.

A small six-room hotel in a very interesting location. In Marvao district, the hill top town is not far to visit (great place to visit but after a couple of hours you have 'done' it). Beside railway lines and almost opposite a wonderful old station, but no problem with noise as the train line from here to Caceras in Spain closed down more than 12 years ago. Close to great Roman excavations in Portugal and over the border in Spain and a number of small towns. The hotel was spotless. The host provided splendid breakfasts and was keen to find something extra every day. Good sized swimming pool. Good place to stay
Located within 48 km of Badajoz Fortress and 49 km of El Corte Ingles in Arronches, Casas da Faia - Nature Guest House provides accommodation with seating area.

Very nice place to relax some days with family or friends.
The space is maintained by the family that owns the property. They are all very friendly and helpful, always concerned about their guests.
Our kids loved the swimming pool :)
We will definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to go to this region.
Thank you!

Lovely restored little house in a tiny village with 13 inhabitants. Beautiful views and wonderful walking trails. Would really recommend the guided walking trail Contrabandistas and the tour of the Lagar. As the town doesn't have a shop nor coffee bar a useful basket with fresh bread, fruit, vegetables, wine, coffee, juice, milk and of course, olive oil is thoughtfully provided.
Very nice place, wonderful views and relaxing sound of the river nearby.
For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
