This place is a gem hidden in a beautiful and tranquil location. Everything was perfect. Since there was no one else staying those days we got to use common areas such as kitchen, dining and fire place all to ourselves. Host Vera was amazing, she took really good care of us and gave us tips on what to see and experience in the area, she is such a lovely human we enjoyed our conversations with her very much. On arrival it was tricky to find location at first but Vera came to meet me at an intersection from where I got lost it was very nice gesture and communication was easy. We hope to be back again soon.

This property is insane ! Everything is new, modern and pristine! You are situated on a working farm where the staff is caring and rehabilitating wild animals and they submerge you to this unique experience . Daniel took us around and helped us with anything we needed. We loved everything about this place !

We were lucky to be the only guests and had all the place for ourselves (normally guests of three different rooms share kitchen and living room). We had a very pleasant breakfast at the balcony with pleasant rural views.
The views were lovely although it was raining for the duration of our two night stay. The room was very spacious and being a converted farmhouse, had charm. Breakfast was good and staff were helpful. The traditional sweets from Arouca we were given on check out was a fantastic bonus!
Amazing views to the Douro river valley, very quite place, in a traditional architecture nice decorated and comfortable farm house. Great breakfast, great hosting, always caring for the best stay.
We had a wonderful time at the farm houses. The staff was incredibly helpful and patient with the kids. Marisa gave us a great tour of the property, where we could see and interact with all the animals.
Amazing renovation of the farm house, great location, room balcony and facilities. The furniture in the room perfectly matched the feel of the hotel. Only us and one more couple staying at this time of year so restaurant was not open for evening meal, local town only about 5 mins drive away so not a show stopper. Manager prepared a carry out breakfast for us as we had to leave early for the Ponte 516 bridge walk. Really nice.
