Gorgeous hosts — as kind and gracious people you could ever meet; beautiful property with alpine and ocean views and an assortment of gregarious farm animals; comfortable and comforting home. We loved every minute of our stay. And OMG the breakfast was so good!

This was the second time we stayed at the cubby house because we loved it so much the first time we had to come back with our friends to celebrate a few birthdays! The owners always go above and beyond with everything and are so friendly. We had the most amazing stay watching the aurora lights and visiting all the farm animals. Can’t recommend this place enough for a weekend away with friends, huge place with lots of space for everyone to do their own thing.

It was spotless with fantastic facilities. Great shower pressure and an amazing kitchen. The ideal place to stay for a few day. The decor was modern farmhouse eclectic. Very Instagram worthy.

The colonial wagon was quite luxurious for a farmstay expectation. The animals and the facilities to use.

Loved the farmhouse, location, room, gardens and the view. The room was comfortable and adequate for our one night stay. The location was very peaceful away from the town and close to the seal colony. The host, Peter, had excellent communication at the time of booking and before our stay. He was friendly, gave us a very warm welcome to his home and excellent directions for a local walk.

This is an amazing place loved every bit of it but unfortunately we didn't sleep a wink. I fully understand that noise is part of a farm stay but we had a roaster outside out accommodation door shouting every 20 mins from 1am. We also had a group of people walk past our door at 8:30am just as I was going for a shower. If it wasn't for these two very important issues I would 100% give this place top marks, it was clean welcoming and fantasticly wacky.
