This beautiful hacienda-style farm stay is located in Ometepe and offers stunning views of Lake Nicaragua, lush tropical gardens and free breakfast. It is a 10-minute drive from Concepcion Volcano.

The rustic rooms at Hotel Ecologico Tierra Blanca feature a large wardrobe and private bathroom with free toiletries. There are also dormitory rooms with shared bathrooms.

It's a family environment, beautiful home, and the owner doña Gilda cooks delicioso food, her grandothers are great Host and very friendly. I really recommend this place 😃

    Rancho Tranquillo was one of my favorite parts of Nicaragua. I cannot wait to come back! Such a great place, wonderful location, a slight walk out of town but I quite enjoyed it as well as being away from the bustle and noise of Moyogalpa. Tons of hammocks, clean and spacious property and dorms.

    I really liked the location: close to the town, but you can enjoy the lake right in front of the ranch. The owns are super lovely and help you with everything and make you feel like home.

    Beautiful and relaxing spot along the lake front. Its a 15min walk from the port. Daniela and Tony are kind people with wonderful hearts. They organised us a scooter to rent and a volcano hike with Oscar, who is also lovely. The breakfasts are amazing. The dorm room is clean and each bed has a fan. The ranch is full of animals and it's a wonderful place.

    If you’re looking for a beautiful property away from the hustle this is it! A short 15 min walk down a lakeside road will lead you to Daniella and Tony’s rancho. Amazing prices and phenomenal hosts who will arrange anything you need on the island with a smile. We booked the private cabana which overlooked the lake and semi seasonal pond filled with turtles and beautiful birds. Tranquillo lives up to its name. Thank you so much for our stay!

    Daniela and Tony are wonderful hosts. Daniela's breakfasts are amazing! We really enjoyed our stay at the Ranch. Only a 1km walk into Moyogalpa for meals, etc. Lots of interesting conversations, and helpful advice. Power and Internet outages are common, but generally only lasted and hour or two. Excellent value. We are already missing Rancho Tranquillo <3

    Rancho Tranquillo is a beautiful place with the most accommodating hosts. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy and they go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best it could possibly be.

    The hostel has only been open for 6 weeks, so it's very much a work in progress. Danilo has some nice ideas and I like that he's deliberately leaving it "rustic." The bed was the comfiest that I've slept in so far in my month of travelling. Thanks, Danilo. Good luck in your new venture!

    I had a great experience staying at Rancho Tranquillo. The place is spacious, have a beautiful garden and the bedroom was nice and clean. A real pearl just outside the city centre of Moyogalpa. The breakfast was excellent - fruit, homemade marmalade & juice etc.. But best of all is the lovely couple running the place. Very helpful and warm people. Recommend!

    Jose is an amazing host. He made us feel very welcome and went out of his way to help us. He has excellent knowledge of the island and it's facilities. The hostel has a rustic feel with beautiful view of the volcano.

    I loved spending some time at Rancho tranquillo. Everything was perfect. But my special appreciation goes to Daniela and Toni, they truly made me feel like I was visiting family. They are amazing people and great hosts. Their place is a little piece of paradise with coconuts and birds and animals. I loved the evening talks and the way they took care of me during the whole stay. Thank you.
