For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
The highlight is the terrace with amazing views of the valley and Jebl Toubkal. The whole family is committed to providing their guests a comfortable stay. We did like the setting in that small rural village off Imli. Parking the car is not really a problem.
All the food we had was amazing - delicious and plentiful. Mohamed and his team were great hosts, very caring and kind. The property has an amazing view over the valley, in a very authentic collection of local houses (with lots of farmyard animals strolling around nearby!). It's a 35 min walk from Imlil centre, only a very short 5-10 min drive. The rooms were basic but clean, and with nice decoration. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and would strongly recommend!
The location was amazing, half way down the hill in the middle of the local rural village. About 1Km out of (up from) the small town. Only book if you are willing to walk along rough ground and past the cows, goats and chickens! A mule is available to carry your bags from the town if required. 5 mis walk to the waterfall.
The 100MAD dinner was the (most simple) and best meal we had in Morocco.
The property was rustic and had all essentials. The location was superb. The welcome and care from the staff was outstanding. It was peaceful and there was a wonderful sense of community with the villagers. The food was excellent. We highly recommend a stay here.
Totally rustic and romantic, tucked into the mountains with an incredible view. The food is delicious, and in the evening it is group dining with the other guests which is really enjoyable. The way the building was made is incredible, and the authenticity of the whole place was wonderful! The staff were helpful and helped with planning walks. The best part… you get to fall asleep with a crackling fire in your bedroom!
Location was great for trekking near to Toubkal mountain. The room had a small AC unit, which we hadn't expected in such a rural area anyway, and the bathroom was sufficient for our needs. The bed was comfy, on arrival we were greeted with mint tea and bottled water, and the breakfast was great!
