For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
The staff were so wonderful to pick us up from the airport, feed us an amazing dinner, and even wake up early the next morning to make us coffee, pack us a breakfast, and again drive us to the airport. They even gave us and the kids a little tour of the farm where the Riad is located. Thank you for going above and beyond to take good care of us.
The Riad is about a 10 minute drive to the airport and it has a free shuttle. It is a lovely self sufficient Riad that has a farming plot, chickens, peacocks, and a pool. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was the quietest place we stayed during our trip.
This was a welcome alternative to the mainstream hotels near the airport. A smallish riad with peacocks and a farm attached. Lovely family running it. Great service and very helpful. Airport shuttle whenever you needed it. Rely on the kitchen for meals since there's nothing close. The tajine was great!
The location was near the airport and surrounded by farmland. The host and staff were excellent. Although too cold to swim in their in-ground pool, we still enjoyed their property - it has many cats, chickens, and even peacocks. Dinner and breakfast were included and were delicious!
Warm welcome and delicious dinner served despite late arrival due to flight delay. Nice property with well-kept garden incl. swimming pool. Rural setting (hence very quiet) yet close enough to the airport (reliable transfer organised to and from the airport). Spotlessly clean and spacious rooms.
Riad Tanjil is a traditional beautifully-appointed Moroccan farmhouse located in a little oasis about a 10 minute drive from the airport. The riad provided transportation from and to the airport which was very convenient. We spent the afternoon hanging out by the pool in the backyard, entertained by a flock of peacocks wandering the yard, then were served a delicious Moroccan chicken tagine for dinner. Excellent home-made cooking. We could not have been happier with our choice.
This was on a family-run working farm. Our room was large and very quiet. We stayed one night because it was close to the airport and we had an early flight. The owner provided transportation to and from the airport. The grounds were lovely. Everyone friendly. Perfect for what we needed.
This Riad is so beautiful. We received a tour of the farm and had dinner cooked from the fresh product there. I highly recommend this stay if you’re coming/ going to the airport. I honestly felt so rested before our huge journey home!
