Lovely location and house. I was able to clean and service my bike in their stable block. Charming hosts, a very comfortable bed, and an excellent breakfast!

For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
The full English breakfast was excellent. I don't know how they served it up so quickly! It seemed to be on the table, perfectly cooked and hot, within two minutes of ordering it! And it was very tasty and done to my liking as requested. The location is perfect, hidden away alongside the Scotch Brook, (it is an old water mill after all), just outside the lovely little town of Stone in Central Rural Staffordshire. It is just 2 minutes' walk into the centre of town but the Mill Hotel feels very rural, being situated in a green valley.
Clean, quiet, reasonably spacious, and conveniently located for Stone town centre. The Mill restaurant building itself is full of character, covered in ivy, and aesthetically pleasing, as is the semi-rural backdrop. Excellent cooked breakfast - very good value at £68 B&B.
Myself and my little boy stayed here after a day out at CBeebies land. We had a cute little room which had everything we needed for a cosy night.
The sunset on the farm was a magnificent view.
Waking up on the farm watching the sunrise through our bedroom window, going out to meet the horses followed by a full English of fresh quality ingredients cooked to perfection is just what we needed after a hectic day out.
