Great country location in the heart of the Surrey Hills on the bank of the Tillingbourne stream, really pretty rural area.
Newly renovated, and beautifully done, with all the latest amenities. The pub has a great deal of character and the garden has been really well put together.
The location. It was right on High Street in the very center of town. You could find 4 or 5 excellent coffee shops within a block of the hotel, and Guildford Castle was 3 minutes away on foot. On Tuesday morning there was a wonderful farmers' market just outside the hotel.
