For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
I loved that it was so well located. The Sacre Coeur Basillica and Moulin Rouge is quite literally in walking distance. There are 2 stations in 2 min walk and about 3 in a 10 min walk that get you to anywhere in the city that you need to be.
There are lots of shops and cafes close by, a lovely Indian restaurant next door and a mini supermarket across the road perpendicular to the hotel. Monoprix is about a 12 minute walk toward the moulin rouge. Papiles is a pretty rustic coffee shop close by.
For the price, this was an excellent deal as it is close to the Les Halles transport hub and the Pont Neuf, the Louvre, the Pompidou. The immediate area offers affordable cafes, an excellent boulangerie, and a branch of MonoPrix with a canteen offering affordable food. Best thing though was the really lovely friendly hotel staff. It is not a luxury hotel - but we were there to see Paris not stay inside our room.
The facilities in the apartment were good. Coffee maker and coffee capsules were provided. enough cutlery for use and cleaning essentials were there. The room were spacious enough for 3 of us and the bed was comfortable. The apartment felt very safe due to three levels of locks one has to get in. We visited the Saturday farmer market and got amazing vegetables, cheese and olives. I was able to survive as a vegetarian in Paris due to cooking facility in the apartment.
Friendly staff, very comfortable mattress, good use of space, lots of outlets, closet lights up. Very close to public transit and good bakeries (Julien, Tranché)
An amazing location, just 10 minutes do eiffel tower, and a view to the tower by the room window.
Near to the mainly points, and a lot of facilities (supermarket, bakery, farmacy, metro and restaurants)
Clean and minutes ride to many major attractions. The staff were helpful and courteous. We had a minor problem with the electrical but Francheska and her colleague were quick to respond and resolved the issue immediately.
Very professional and responsive staff… coffee and tea are available free of charge in the rooms… and coffee machine to make various types of coffee in the lounge
… vwry nice restaurants, coffee shop nearby, also mini markets and farmacies… very cosy and quiet…very effective sound proofing….one could walk or run along the Seine ( for runners) !
We loved how close it was to the train and other beautiful locations. We found that it was in the perfect spot and we also found the farmers market on Sunday close by which was amazing. The train is a cross the street and around the corner. The beads were comfortable. Just remember that it's Europe my fellow Americans, everything is tiny. Yet, we would stay again.
