It is in a very quiet location, just the birds and the cow bells. It had been a long trip from Portugal getting there, so we stayed two nights to recover. Breakfast was freshly served and we could sit inside or out under their veranda. The restaurants are mainly in Zarautz about 15minutes away. They typically open late in the evening, after 8pm. The first night we found a tapas type bar, which was Ok The second night we went on the owners recommendation to Telesforo, restaurant which she booked for us, and it was superb.

Incredibly beautiful house with an unbeatable location. The clear highlight was the terrace but also the size of the rooms and the well equipped kitchen. We rented the whole house for a group of 10 friends and it was the perfect place for us. We enjoyed breakfasts on the terrace and the privacy provided by each room having its own bathroom. We rented cars and though the roads were narrow we had no difficulties (including the road from zarautz which seems to have been repaved recently). I cannot overstate how much all of us enjoyed our stay. Despite the owner living on the property as well, we never felt disturbed and had full privacy. He was also able to quickly take care of any issues we had :) thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home, we aready miss it!!

It was an amazing experience to stay in the rural part of Basque country. Mountain views were all around and donkeys and goats wondering around. Staff was very welcoming.
The place was very welcoming and clean. The location, being immersed in nature, was stunning and the presence of animals and local products kind of made it feel like you were in a farm.

A very well kept traditional villa style house in a very quiet rural location. Very nice room, helpful host, on-site parking and good value. Located up quite a steep narrow lane, so really need your own transport to access the property.
