For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
Everything. What else can I say?
The booking process was easy, the staff were very friendly, accommodating and just good folks. The room, beds, patio and surroundings were beyond expectations. And then, a real breakfast. That was superb!
I will certainly book the Hillcrest Farm Market B&B on my next trip to Kelowna.
Lovely, well equipped apartment in a quiet part of Kelowna but in easy reach of all that you would want from exploring the area. The view from the windows overlook a rural golf course, the property has everything you require to prepare meals and is air conditioned which was mist welcome in the August sunshine!. Would definitely recommend to people wishing to self cater rather than having to eat out for every meal. Quail ridge lives up to its name with quails often visiting the patio area!
It's quiet and safe community with convenient access to main roads. Close to U-pick farms and the Myra canyon, Costco and downtown.
The place is new and very spatial rooms. Bright and cozy.
The hoster was very friendly and communicated efficiently.
Our main focus for this trip was to visit Kangaroo Creek Farm and the hotel was only 5 minutes away.
My youngest loves planes and he loved seeing them take off. We were on the other side of the hotel but I didn’t hear a thing at night and I’m a light sleeper.
Amazing property with a mind blowing view of Okanagan lake, mountains and Kelowna from the backyard. The Rancher sits in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood. Just 10 mins drive to shops, restaurants. Nice amenities as host provides all required utensils for cooking, makes it best for family especially when you have kids. Very responsive host.
Unbelieveable breakfast, at a gorgeous table overlooking the Kelowna farming lands and mountains, as seen through beautiful flowering plants.
Swimming after dinner in the dusk, sitting under the stars on the huge patio, watching the moon rise.
Showering in copious hot water, in an immaculate bathroom.
The location was nice and quiet, while still being close to the city centre. Lots to do near by : wineries, kangaroo farm etc. The stay was spacious, clean and comfy. Renee and Mal were exceptionally nice and welcoming, and provided a delcious breakfast.
