If you look for a calm place in mountains to spend holidays with children, this is the right choice. The staff is very helpful. You can trek in mountains (waterfall nearby, solkpass etc.), you can bike (Murradweg is most polular), a nature bath see is nearby in Krakaudorf, you can visit lovely historical cities as Murau or Tamsweg. You can take a trip by historical steam train in Murau ( www.dampfzug.steiermark.at). There is lot of possibilities.

Nice, well-equipped and comfortable apartmant, in a beautiful, silent location. The breakfast is excellent, the hosts are very nice and helpful. Everything was just perfect. The Kreischberg ski area is only 10-15 minutes by car.

The house is located at the edge of St Andrä - a quiet area a little bit off the most popular routes, but with a car Tamsweg is just 4 minutes away. The apartment itself (better called as flat, actually) occupies the whole top floor - it's huge. 3 separate rooms (6 beds altogether), a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with both shower and bathtub and large mirror - and there's even a terrace with a view. Abundant packing space, endless amount of wardrobes and drawers - should suffice even for a smaller football team 😃 And the rock solid and broadband WiFi - worked flawlessly through the 4 days and nights, despite we are heavy users.
The very kind owners live downstairs and happy to help in any case. As they have cattle, we were offered fresh milk every morning and it was very-very delicious. Being a farm accommodation, the kids could pet the calf and enjoyed chasing the 3 cats, too.
The beds were comfy, it's a personal taste that I prefer the tougher ones and my bed here was a bit on the softer side - it's not negative at all, your milage may vary. The nights and the mornings were quiet, nothing should prevent you from a proper sleep.
We arrived by car and parking was easy in the garden, right next to the entrance.
The owners are able to offer you the Lungau card (for free!), which was life changing, being there with kids: a handful of local attractions (many of them within 15 minutes drive) are accessible with it for free and it meant a significant saving for us.
We had amazing time in this super comfy flat, would return anytime without thinking.
For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
This was an absolute gem. Spending your holiday with your family with kids is great. The farm has cows, chickens, rabbits, and even deers. We had the pleasure to use to complete top floor of the old farmhouse. Kitchen with plenty of stuff you always forget when you travel, remarkably good dishwasher, coffee. Wifi up to 10mbps, which is absolutely sufficient. Also two bathrooms with good showers. Very kind host, always available for questions or help. Restaurant at 3 minutes drive. Supermarket at 5 minutes.
